The upside is his undoubted talent. The downside is that he is clearly a troubled soul, whose irresponsibility has seen him booted out of three clubs, despite that talent.
On the balance of probabilities, I can see him being a decent fit for Hull. He'll add another dimension. Bringing the total to two by my count. But expectations have been raised by your success this year. You're no longer the surprise package, and you're unlikely to have as few injuries in 2016 as 2017. If things go a bit sour, he's not somebody you want to rely on. In fairness, you wouldn't be, at least not to the extent we were.
He gets (another) fresh start. Hull get an x-factor player. We're well shot of him. Maybe sometimes everybody wins.
Total agree, good thing is that he won't be the main man at Hull and we have the squad to come if things dont work out, which Rovers didn't have.

No he shouldn't, I'd rather have gone down than played a player none of his team mates wanted in the squad. He was pretty much the sole reason we lost to Leeds, he was beyond awful in that game.

The story I got was as follows. He came back late which we all know , JP gave him a talking to REDACTED Kelly contacted an ex Rovers player at Leigh and told him he had been suspended REDACTED The ex Rovers player then told another ex rovers player at Leigh what he had been told who then told the brother of a current Rovers player at St Helens what had gone on. This guy then told his brother who is a current Rovers player what the Leigh player had been told, the player went to JP and the rest of the Rovers squad told them what had gone on. Rovers squad then apparently as a unit said they did not want him anywhere near them at training or if he was selected they would not play.
As far as I am aware this is the way things went on and as far as I am concerned Rovers are well rid he can't be trusted if this is how he reacts to discipline how could any coach take a chance with a guy like, this no way. Especially as Hull seem a close nit squad one bad apple seems to come to mind
COUPLE OF EDITS, MR. I'd rather err on the side of caution.

More or less what I have been told.
I also got told he ate Shaun Lunt's hamster on the morning of the Leigh game, this was the final straw.

Thats it in a very brief synopsis. Point two has more details and some very damaging controversy involved in the conversation on the eve of a massive game that we go on to lose which I'm sure for legal reasons I can't mention.
I'll just add for those that still believe Rovers would suspend their most influential player on the eve of such a massive run of games for simply missing a couple of training sesions is a fool.

If JP just talked to him why did he make out he was suspended? Why didn't Webster handout any discipline? Radders will put him right..

The suspension story didn't leak until just prior to the Leigh game, he was named in the 19 but the club announced the suspension while I was stood in the ground. This was clear evifldence that turning up late on Wednesday was not the sole issue otherwise he would not have been in the 19.
The bloke needs to grow up. He's got 2 kids but carries on like a student on fresher week.

I'm not sure his bullying tactics will work with this one
