He's contracted with Wigan until the end of the 2018 season.

He must be due a new deal and a decent increase so my guess is that all these rumours are the usual sort of stuff you get when an agent is trying to eek out an extra few quid from the players current club.

At a guess he'll sign a new deal with us for five years at some point in the next few months and within that he'll probably have an NRL release clause (much like Sam Tomkins did) on the grounds that we get first refusal if/when he comes back.

I thought he signed a new 4 year deal part way through 2015 meaning like you say he's contracted to us until the end 2018. I can't see him going for a free or did you mean fee James.

It was in May 2014 according to the article I read which you would presume takes him to the end of 2018 (as the contract won't run out in May 2018).
