I have been informed that there are two Superleague teams being investigated for irregularities in the salary cap last season which could mean up to a 15 point penalty or even relegation to the championship. Any one else heard same rumour

It's us and Wakey.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

A numpty called Andy on the secret forum has been trying to spread this tale since the start of last season. Even his own forum members discredit anything he says so just move along and ignore it. Bitter red and white...

Couldn't realistically see Wakefield breaching the cap.
Not just saying that as being a fan.
In 2013, the club were heavily in debt, hence a change of ownership.
Since then, they have gradually got back on an even keel, by various means, one of them was to drastically reduce their cap spend. I think it was something like £1.2m in 2014, slightly increasing that in 2015. In 2016, they increased that again a bit more. The result is they are now debt free.
MC and CC actually made a statement at the halfway point of last season that if our average crowd was at a certain level come the end of the season, then they would spend the full cap. Can't remenber if it was 6000 or 7000, but they have fallen short.
This to me wouldn't be the actions of a team who are breaking the cap
