Eli fluffed it last night. Don't know why he threw the pass. Looks like his brief flirtation with eliteness is merely a faded memory these days.

Not the ideal first touch for Hayne, sure he was feeling a bit of pressure though. Had a decent run from RB later in the game, so hopefully he can kick on from there.

Good start for the Niners overall though, good defense restricting to just a FG, AP to very few yards when the spotlight would have been on him.

Don't hold much hope for this season overall, but if we have a winning record at the end I will be happy.

Matt Ryan had an absolute stinker in that last quarter and as for the Head caoch allowing two defensive players that were clearly outgunned to carry on playing with no help after their D had being on the field for an age, facking ridiculous!

Think it all came down to experience in the end, said to my brother at HT that the Falcons may not know how to handle the pressure and it showed. My team lost narrowly to Denver after kicking a FG to tie it up but Denver calling a TO then the re take being blocked.

Still think Pat's will be too good this year. Green Bay from the NFC to challenge them.
