If it was a choice between signed another forward who may not get much game time (hopefully), or signing a 6, then I don't feel we have much option.
An outside back is a strange one for me, unless someone like Naughton is leaving.
The Naughton rumour is a strong one, and if he leaves it will be disappointing. He's already back in Oz.
As for noggers being back in Oz don't forget though his mum lives in Oz so could just be going back for the off season, so could be a bit of a red herring and fuelling the rumour.
Would be disappointed to see him go but it maybe to get the 6 that AP alluded too we have to ship some out & maybe Naughton is one, who knows.
With the resigning of Michaels you do wonder where Naughton will play and how often as for me when he comes in for the odd game he hadn't been great at times but when he had a run of games he was pretty good. Plus still young and no quota spot required for him so seeing as Lancaster has been released would be strange to see Naughton go too.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Last 2 years of the 5 are as a coach, per the Beeb - so its an equally ridiculous 3-year deal. Great pension for him.

In some ways our lack of an injury crisis this season proved to be a curse. I think that because his strongest 17 was available most weeks that Radders opted to play that 17. Which is understandable as it was very tight at the top of the table and fielding our strongest team whenever possible gave us our best chance of success.
Unfortunately that meant we had a few players out of energy by the end of the season as we perhaps didn't make as good a use of the squad and the u23's as we could of. Which also impacted some of our younger players as they didn't get the run outs they were maybe expecting to aid their development and gain them some experience.
Hopefully fortune will favour us again next year regarding injuries but we'll also have the chance (and take it) to rotate.

You dont need injuries to rotate the squad. Cant blame Radford for going with his strongest 17 most weeks but i think he will re think this for next season as another lesson learnt as will his interchanges.

Agree , blaming our failures on not having injuries is ridiculous
