I hope that Watson isn't going to sign a load of championship players like last season. i don't think any of them made it. They have all gone back to the lower divisions. I stand to be corrected
"I keep offering you Tilse. Please....." FROM TODAY'S MEN: "Steve Diamond believes he still needs to sign four world-class players for Sale "
Have you tried them? (Better pay than Salford)

There was only Sarsfield wasn't there? I can't recall any others although Haggerty was on loan at a championship club before we loaned him but he was still registered to St Helens. I think there is the occasional talent that can be found in the Championship it's just we are historically poor at unearthing them. I think Andy Coley, Fitzy and Chris Charles were the only exceptions all those years ago.
First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.
What does anybody think to Jamie Soward? he's a free agent ..32 but looked class running the show when London beat us in the middle 8's. Says he will come back if a super league club was to come in for his services
..I like Robert Lui .. he looked good early on in the season but he faltered a bit towards the end and had a mare in the MPG when we really needed him ..knocked on a coupe of times...he's been carrying knocks so maybe we can excuse that and he deserves another shot ? Soward could provide a different option for a season or so?..know we have a signed a young prop and hooker but think we need a centre and a top experienced prop as well

There"s a cue apparently for Soward's signature. To be fair to Lui he was playing on one leg since the knee injury at Leigh. I think this showed his commitment to the cause by putting his hand up. Given recovery time I think he'll go well again next year.

Lui is class and must be kept for next season, he was playing 70% fit after his knee injury. I would imagine a lot of the big clubs will be looking at our players, specially the likes of Sau, Murdoch-Masila, O'Brien, Etc. We need to keep hold of most of this current squad and just add 3 or 4 top players. Could we see a marquee player signed this season??
Is Lee already gone?? Josh Griffin will be a huge loss been immense since we signed him, shame we have lost Caton-Brown as well.
