That would be fantastic.
If it was on Sky on a Thursday night and Hull were involved, imagine how many season passes they'd shift if they offered free travel again.

Given what else the HDM mentions regarding the potential fixture congestion, it might be a good thing not having to take on an Aussie team. As much as I would love to see it I wouldn't want it to derail our league/cup campaign.

I've not seen the article, but couldn't it be structured so we catch up the game we missed in the weekend of the challenge cup round, the round where only the 9th-12th SL clubs join?

The HDM mentions that the league is going to probably start a week later due to an England training camp. But the Grand Final won't be a week later because of the World Cup. It also says that there may be a mid season international. These will mean we face short turn arounds like at Easter on at least two additional games. Three if there's a WCC fixture too.
And let's not forget that the RFL have to approve when such fixtures get played and who knows what they will say. I recall they blocked us playing a league fixture the other year on WCC weekend and we ended up having to play midweek later on in the year.

Agreed, would be good if it were here, but would be too disruptive to play it there.
