It's great fun reading all the reasons why we can and then cannot sign the NRL 6 that Adam confirmed we'll be announcing in around 2 weeks time. It's what makes our forum so lively and entertaining.
However, for me, I'm of the mind that, if Adam and Motu have done the sums and say its do-able. Then it's do-able.
God forbid they've mashed up the rules or the numbers.
I'm sure Adam will have watched and learnt with amusement our poor neighbours HudgeMasongate comedy gold moment. So I think it unlikely we'll have to embarrassingly de-register anyone Dobson like. Unless of course one of our learned forum members have just reminded him of something he may have forgotten. Lol
I don't know how they're going to do it, but I'm sure he's very close already. He must be to be open enough to announce it.
So the strengthening continues and I'm a very happy Airlie Bird.
Why is wanting to be better/have better players than we currently have and indeed have a better way to play games/use the interchange or make better any aspect of the club wrong? It's all well and good to take the mickey but if we want to keep winning we can't stand still.
Finding improvements everywhere has to be the basic minimum ANY organisation does. Winning/losing in sport is very fine margins, even in a game were losing by 20+ points can balance upon a small margin here and there. This year we won the CC beating all the top teams along the way which was amazing, however there were aspects that we could improve upon that we saw affect us in individual games whether that be how we played/didn't play as a team or whether an individual wasn't up to scratch and indeed if the coach made mistakes. I'm sure Radford will look at his decisions (one hopes) look at what worked and what didn't work and make adjustments/improvements to keep us up with the rest of the top teams going forward. Rest on your laurels and there is a greater chance of it being fubar. We know this more than most after the false dawn of the 2005/06 seasons. That failure was from all avenues, players, coaches and those at the top. Getting it right is damn hard when everyone else is trying to emulate and surpass you, let's hope we are in contention next year (I feel we will be) because another false dawn could be very hurtful not just for fans but also for the club as a whole.

He'd verbally agreed to sign for us I believe hence James Clark on Twitter putting pictures of Scott's Porridge Oats and Prince. He had a change of mind though and got his agent to call Pearson to say he wasn't coming.

Correct got an offer from Brisbane at the last min, was a blessing in the end, can't believe Rovers are thinking of signing him, seems they aren't learning from past mistakes.
