As a Rovers fan I'm heartbroken & still coming to terms with the result...but well done.
I don't think you should have been there (I didn't agree with the points deduction) & I hope Marwan stays...I think the game is better for having him involved.
I suspect a lot of the trouble at the end was instigated by day trippers as opposed to real Salford fans. Hopefully all the guilty are identified & dealt with.
Good luck & hope we'll be meeting back in SL soon.

i cant understand why the "scum of rugby league" salford fans in a state of exitement at an unlikely win would run on the pitch and fight each other while the whiter than white kr fans stayed in the stand and consoled their children. some of the salford fans were wearing kr shirts to avoid being caught (now that is sneaky)
I know some people who were caught fighting, because they were set up and retaliated protecting family and friends. I'd take a step back from throwing stones before you know the full story

Congratulations, amazing finish to that game and top class effort from your lads.
I think with a game with such high stakes, there was literally always going an outpouring of emotion at the end, regardless of who won. As a neutral, it's great to see the fans run to the pitch in jubilation to celebrate with their players. Of course, starting fights is detestable but there's nothing wrong with a pitch invasion in principle.
What I find ridiculous is the excuses being made for why the Hull KR fans were also on the pitch and fighting. What reason did they have to be on the pitch? The Salford fans were elated, leave them to it. So what if they goaded the KR fans from the stands? Why is that an excuse to run on the pitch and start fighting? You could always, oh I don't know, not be a loving child and feel the need to run onto the pitch to "throw down". You're not defending the honour of your club, your fans, your wife, your children, you're being a total dweeb.
Anybody fighting was wrong and I find it rich for HKR fans to be calling anybody the scum of rugby league. Just ban the fighters and move on.
Congrats again on staying up, have a lot of Salford supporting mates and would have been gutted to lose the banter.
The only reason they look up to you is because they chose to kneel.

So relieved with what I consider the best comeback I've ever seen in sport in such an important match. There was 1 minute 42 seconds on the clock when we were 2 scores behind. Wow. I just find it bizzare that more is being made about a small number of people than the turnaround.
It's obvious a small minority of KR fans lost their heads after experiencing a few minutes of absolute despair watching their team throw it away when they must have thought they were safe. Salford's understandably wild celebrations just added fuel to the fire. I was reading a post on facebook earlier that someone had retweeted from last night. It was a young KR fan boasting about not regretting running on the pitch and hitting a woman from Salford. Not surprisingly his twitter account is now not public.
Perhaps the concept of this fixture needs looking at because it's like a Grand Final with the loser facing relegation. It's like having a redundancy meeting with two groups at the same time and one half being told their jobs are safe and the other that they're gone. The emotion is just too much for some and I feel sympathy for Hull KR as a club.
First accept sadness. Realise that without losing 70% of the time, winning wouldn't be such a relief.
