Great way to have a clear out and get rid of dead wood on big contracts, as long as rovers fans still turn out, think it might end up been a good thing for them short term. I'd have a look at taking greenwood

I said 4 weeks ago that Rovers where facing a real danger of going down and that they would end up in the MPG. Then said I could see Salford knicking and many thought I was talking utter boll0x.
For me whilst I have some sympathy for all involved I will not be sorry to see them gone from SL. Hopefully if/when they come back up messrs Hudgell & Co will have learnt some humility and class. Since they got into SL they set the tone for trying at every opportunity to have a dig and oneupmanship over Hull FC. The signing of Paul Cooke a perfect example of the motive of the Rovers chairman to stick the knife in whenever he could.
Hopefully now AP will terminate the joint academy and bring it solely back under Hull FC
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Exactly. Hudgell has single handedly got them relegated.

Correct Wilf. Standard clause in all SL player contracts makes them lapse if the club are relegated. This is to protect both players and the club, which could otherwise go bankrupt trying to honour SL contracts on Championship income.
