Time to take it back in house and regain our identity. These lads don't want to play in this joint academy, they want to wear black & white and sing Old Faithful after a win.
We're not a charity and have no obligation to help Rovers out.

It was cost effective to merge for staff, & the ratio of players making the grade was 1 out of 12 from each club so they decided to have 1 set of staff & reduced squads to get 2 from 12.

Yes, we get that.
The player pool was only that diluted and the ratio of those making the grade so low because Rovers were in SL taking half the talent for their own academy. This meant that both clubs had to fill the ref of their academy squads with players of a poor standard.
Now there's no need for it as all the talent will be flowing to FC again.

I've said this before, our town has a lot of talented players, but for what ever reason they've never been scouted properly, our team alone have won Yorkshire & national cup fjnals & every trophy available in the hull & district league from u8s to u16s we played our home games at St Richards school alongside craven park, kr scouts never came to watch ever, we've talent in abundance in Hull, but the clubs employ numptees now FC have got it right with Danny Wilson, we was heading in the right direction, then decided to merge to save money, stuff rover's we didn't need to help them, both chairmen jumped at the chance to save money, as scouting & junior/academy coaching was been carried out by clueless incompetent people.
