Surely we don't want to be sharing an academy set up with a championship team? Time to close it down and go on our own again

Now that Rovers have been relegated, what happens to the much lauded joint academy setup? Surely it only works as an operation for both clubs if they are in Super League? I'm sure there would have been stipulations in the agreement initially in this scenario, so it may already be set in stone. Until Rovers get back in to Super League, our position as a top SL club, having finished third and being the current cup holders, will surely stand us in good stead to reap the benefits of being the only top flight club in the city and the area. We should look to invest time and money into our own setup in my opinion, and take advantage of the situation.

It was a terrible idea in the first place. Great opportunity to scrap it now. Rovers can be our dual-reg partner instead.
