As they say every cloud, after last night show ! But here come the dobbins to cheer me up loved the close ups on the supporters faces, we lost it, now weve nearly won it cant wait for the next installment.
I know it's on the wrong board but I have been banned for the past 5 years on their site
As much as it'd be absolutely hilarious, I think it'd be bad for HullFC if they go down, the derby is our biggest payday by a mile, and is probably the difference between breaking even or making a loss in a normal year with no cup final appearance.

I'd doubt 5000 extra fans would make the difference, in fact we might get more neutrals and increased sponsorship if they went down, so we could be better off.
However it would be better for RL if Rovers stayed up.

Our average attendance this season was 11,590. Take out the derby and the average was 11,169. Our average in 2003/2004 was 11,597 and 11,458. Rovers being in Super League of course lifts our average but it's not critical.

When Hull KR were fleetingly ahead of us around 2009 Hudgell did a big article saying that Hull FC were of no consequence; Rovers were the best team in Hull and would next become the best team in Yorkshire. Well here he is now, £4m sunk and stood on a trapdoor whilst we're polishing the Challenge Cup, the enormity of winning which at Wembley he salivated about to any journo listening last August.
Rovers will remain in Superleague but maybe the posturing should be toned down and the empty vessel fans in a state of undress better managed.
