] This - I also think Tony Smith helped get that idea across with oen of his interviews earlier in the week..... Sadly I think Warrington wanted it more tonight ....
Just not at the races at all tonight, and I thought it looked like some players (most notably Talanoa, Fonua and Pritchard) were playing tired or injured, when in hindsight some of the fully fit backup players like Naughton & Feka might have been better.
Still if you told us at the start of the year we'd finish 3rd and win the Cup we'd have all taken it.
Absolutely shocking display. Dominated from 1-17. One out clueless rugby. Anyone notice Sneyd playing? Not saying anyone covered themselves in glory but since Wembley he's gone missing which is reflected in out attack. Biggest home gate for years, great pre match build up and we choke and serve up that.

They were saying with Warrington blowing it last week and losing Gidley and currie and no Sandow you at home all the pundits predicted a Hull win I certainly thought you would
einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result

Agree. Of course we'd have taken it at the start of the season, but still awful to lose with such a limp performance
Pritchard was MIA as well.

Poor tonight, beaten by a much better, faster team. The offence is a worry - very little being created.
I though the tide had turned after our try but we bombed that try after the Shaul break and that gave Warrington the ascendancy again.
The Grand Final dream is not over but it will take a huge improvement to beat Wigan. We need the sort of display we saw at the DW earlier in the year, or at Catalans or Saints in the Cup. Just can't see our form shifting dramatically in a week.
What a year though - Wembley winners and third in the league. That would have been a dream back in January.

We have been well and truly sussed out and since Wembley we have looked poor,we need more brainy players on the field just like Warrington had.We also need an injection of pace, our wingers ain't fast enough,Talanoa broke away tonight and got caught easily in no time.We seem to have reverted back to our boring early season rugby, running round like headless chickens. We need other playmakers besides Sneyd, everything goes through him.We need a proper number 6,don't think Carlos is a 6.Other than that, it has been a good season spoiled by the whole team going flat at the end of the season, rant over.
