sadly had time to work this out.
west upper is 5000 + seats. offered 2 unreserved blocks of 928 and sold about 1500 upto now according to online ticket website
so home fans = South 4000, West 6000, East 4800 (away blocks E1 to E3 = 1200) , West upper 1500 = 16300 hull
no sign of north stand open for wire so guess less than 1200 coming and they will be in east stand away section. disappointing from wire fans as free buses laid on and not really a gimme for hull. they could walk away with shield and home semi but reading their forum they are suicidal after last weeks capitulation to pies.
COYH this could be a really special season with 3 more big efforts

You do realise the realise coaches are leaving at 4 and most people finish at 5? and you lot of all people know what its like trying to tackle the M62 on a Friday night and the best of times, especially westbound. Add the fact that there's 20 odd miles of 50mph speed limit on the M60 and M62 as well as the speed cameras on the Brighouse/Leeds stretch and it just isn't worth it. Nothing to do with Fans not wanting to go. If it was on a Saturday afternoon or night we'd have travelled in the thousands like we usually do.

yep appreciate not easy getting over M62 on Friday. not a big fan of thursday/friday games but hull managed to get 2000 over there for a bog standard SL game and you may miss your team winning the Shield. maybe we are just more desperate for some success and wire have had too much

It's worse going the other way yet we do it in numbers most other weeks for bog standard league games If I was a wire and my team won and I was sat at home cos I didn't go I'd be dead set gutted
