That's signing money. I've convinced my sen now I've had a good reasoning up Connor Griffin, Halifax n leeds lad and upgrades doesn't add upto that lot
Be a weird move to loan out Hadley, on next seasons squad is have him as 18th man, I'd be looking to ship out Thompson if we need cap space.
I think the fact we have released two young halfs and are looking to loan out Abdul, tells you the position we are after.
If we go, Carlos will play centre and fully expect Fonua to go onto the wing.

This year was poop or bust and relying on proven players instead of being able to have the luxury of giving home-grown youngsters some regualr game time (Like Logan/Lancaster) was never really going to happen due to the last few seasons. Similarly to last season when selling Westerman was a gimme all along otherwise we would never have kept under the cap we are having to off-load more players for next season due to salary cap issues. We aren't making space for a 6, we are simply trying to ensure we are under the cap. Or had everyone forgotten Pritchard's $300k that the doggies were paying him this year that will will have to find for next year at least?

After the season we've had it's understandable any departures will be received negatively. Radford and Motu have got plenty of recruitment runs on the board IMO.

Don't see Fonua on the wing. Cookie weighed him up perfectly in hdm last week in regards too his attributes. As a team we'd lose a lot of them shoving a dream team centre on the wing I honestly believe carlos n Shaul will battle out the 1 shirt . Like Shaul and Rankin did

Pritchard is our marquee player, therefore anything over £175k he earns is exempt, so we don't have to 'find' anything for next year as far as the salary cap is concerned.

It's a perfect move for hadley. His position is log jammed next year again. By year after he'll be in a good position. But gonna be beneficial to him and us if he plays weekly. Not 18th man

I'd keep Fonua at centre, but with only Naughton and Talanoa as wingers and Griffin, Carlos, Connor and two youngsters it may force Radfords hand.
Having Rankin and Shaul was a waste of cap space and if we are going to do the same with Carlos and Shaul, may as well get rid of one of them. Don't see Carlos as a FB, Shaul will play there and if he gets injured we have Naughton and Connor.

Hadley will play plenty of games next year, played 15 times this year and that's with good luck with injuries, Ellis and Mini a year older, will play 20 plus times, mistake to loan him out
