It would be nice to have a shot at the LLS but if its a brutal game with lots of sore bodies and suspensions resulting from it then I'd be happy enough.
Great game tonight to watch and a bit of a win, win situation for Hull (well maybe the fans.) Wigan win and its all on next week and the LLS is once again in our hands and the possibility of the treble. Wire win and its a guaranteed 2nd place finish (baring some mathematical miracle) and a home semi final. No doubt Hull FC want the treble and to try and pick up another piece of silverware as will some fans. For me a home semi-final is a must and a Wigan win tonight would mean we have to beat wire next week, not only to get top spot and the LLS but with Wigan playing Catalan next week they could end up leapfrogging us into 2nd and then a away tie in the semi!!! I hope they batter each other for the full 80 minutes!!

At the start of the season, I was looking at top 6, keeping in thr running for top 4, with a good Wembley run. we have since finished top the league (regular season, should already have the LLS imo) won at Wembley and are within 1 point of top of the league. whilst there, why not go for it? I'd rather W**an win tonight, sets up a grand slam finish at the KC next week for the LLS. yes we could finish 3rd, but even an away tie in the semi's id fancy our chances.
so hope for a w**an win tonight and then beat wire at our place...COYH

There was nothing about last nights performance away at the worst team in the 8's that could possibly fill me with your confidence.

Tut tut Patton. It was tough but very warm and humid. Ball must have been slippery and Cambell was an ache first half. Talanoa very hard done by for his ten minutes, he allowed three and four Wakey players to lie on longer than that afterwards, plus FC had streamed back and were already in defensive line. Linesman pinged Green for a shoulder charge but missed Wakey's two after that. Thought Sneyd should have gone for the two when Tala was off just to waste time and get the ball back. It's a crappy place to play and even worse to watch now we're segregated, one steward actually pointed out the toilets FC fans should use It's not like you to be negative, leave that to the moanaires, onwards and upwards to OT and you might get me the pie you owe me

Putting segregation in is a disaster, made a terrible ground even worse. Imagine what would have happened if it was pi$$ing it down? No way would I have stayed on that open terrace and you wouldn't have got all those FC fans (1,500?) into that tiny shed at the end. Total farce and £24 is a joke.
