If Hull and Warrington both win this weekend, then that is 1st and the LLS for us and 2nd guaranteed Hull with an opportunity for both coaches to rest up the majority of players the following week. This could result in a second 13 match at the KCOM.

If Saints also win then they will be level on points with Wigan with a game to go. I would hazard a guess that Points difference will decide 3rd and 4th. Will this mean that both go hell for leather in the final game hoping to get 3rd. Or will Saints also rest a few up with a then likely trip to their Second Home and a likely easier route to the final.

It would go down to points difference. At present Hull have +103 more than Wigan. So it could be done, however very unlikely.

Spot on, pretty much what I had in mind. Hopefully it won't matter and we'll get the job done Friday.

If we are assured top Saints will be fighting like mad to stay 4th

I can't see past a Warrington win if we get saints at home. Not with the fresh legs we'll have coming back. I don't think Sandow was fully recovered from his injury when we brought him back. giving him this rest could see him coming back and taking on the line with the spontaneous play he had at the start of the season. Having Daryl Clark fresh for the last semi final and final would be unreal.

And if we lose & Hull lose this week ,Wigan could finish top if Hull beat us next week & Wigan beat Les Cats.

Hope we don't get the same done to us on Friday.

After the League Leaders Shield was put back into the box, on that night.

Saints subsequently won it anyway. They also won the Grand Final.....Admittedly thanks to Mr Ben Flower.

I know there are no certainties in sport, however I will lay good money on Hull opening a can of Whoop Ass on Wakefield on Thursday. :SHOOT:

Common sense would suggest we should win against Saints at home. But we never do so we won't.

For some reason we seem to have a mental block when it comes to beating Saints at home.

Maybe an hypnotist should brought in to tell our boys they are the Australian test team.
