It is a real eye opener to clubs in SL finishing in the bottom 4, you've got to feel for the fans as the club going down could stay in the championship for a very long time, maybe even put the club out of business, Only a decent financially backed club can gain automatic promotion, Leigh been living proof, the others really stand no chance.

They have some quality players but also lots of ordinary ones who have underperformed all year. They deservedly finished bottom of the SL and have lost all but one away game against SL opposition all year. They now have to beat leeds at home and rovers away to not be in the £1m hame which I think is unlikely, lose both (pretty likely) and they'll be away in the £1m game. Through the season and the qualifiers they've been the worst team in SL which I think is unlikely to change in the next 3 weeks

Couldn't agree more. Ken Gravytrain must be spitting feathers. What's the reason for their rapid decline? Can't blame flooded traing pitch or high profile players retiring. A whino wag has blamed their decline on the fact that the ground capacity will be reduced to 13,000 next season during alterations to the stands and Gary Hetherington's plan is to mickey a few fans off!!!! Even the guy's dad said he was an idiot.

Don't disagree that they've been the worst over the course of the season but out the 3 remaining SL sides I still think they have the better squad. So the situation they are now in will either make or break them. I just have a feeling they will get a win against Leeds for some reason.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Looking likely to be Salford v the losers of kr n giants but anything could happen and London beating an injury ravaged kr team wouldn't be impossible (highly unlikely tho) Heard a month ago that brough will be going to kr if giants go down
Well you may throw your rock and hide your hand Workin' in the dark against your fellow man But as sure as God made black and white What's down in the dark will be brought to the light

I think they've recruited really poorly in the last year or two. brough has been in decline since last year and they have ellis who we know isn't very good, a couple of makeshift hookers and the lad they signed from leigh as their creative options. Add in the bang average grix at FB and their spine is definitely the worst of the 12 SL clubs at the start of the season. In the forwards, only huby is any good at prop and he's been injured for most of the season. the back row isn't bad and their outside backs are OK but the overall package is worse than rovers and salford IMO
