Couple of talking points I'd like to raise regarding the team to take on Wakey.
Was it my imagination or was Scott Taylor struggling from early in the game against Wigan? Does he need a bit more time to recharge?
As others have stated, Carlos doesn't look good he part at 6 at present. Personally I'd like to see Pryce play against wakey to get him more game sharpness.
scott has played well the last few games but not at the level he was, maybe he needs a bit more rest? carlos I would play as he is our num 6 this year and the more game time he has hopefully the better he will settle into the role, as for next year who knows?
once a black and white always a black and white COYH
How much more time are we going to give Tuimavave at 6? I rate him as a centre but not at 6. He is just playing catch and pass at the moment when he should be taking on the line. The way results have gone we desperately need the points at Wakefield and for Warrington to beat Wigan Although that would mean a dead rubber in Hull against Warrington and i would suspect both clubs to field mainly reserve players

The 6 position should not be work in progress at this stage of the season. We are lacking creativity and relying on Sneyd way too much. It would be tempting to try what we did any magic against Wakey, start with Pryce with Carlos on the bench.
It's also not the time to be bringing Pryce back in. Carlos could be playing to how he's been instructed to. We'd also miss all the defensive work he does. He's quick enough so not many get round him, and he's strong in the tackle. If we bring back Pryce or Abdul, teams would target our right side all game, and probably get some success there.

I hope he is not being instructed to be merely be a link in a passing chain. Id hope he has been told to take the line on a few time at the very least.
I think you under state Pryce and Abduls defense, they are not bad.
Leon played his last game for the club at Saints and given the captaincy for the evening. Jordan is still waiting for contract talks, I believe. Carlos is growing into the position. I said earlier that he had his best game at 6 on Friday. He kicked on a few occassions and took on the line, coming close in the second half. As posters have reiterated many times, he practiced close season at centre plus has had injury spells. Sneyd struggled to establish himself last season but has grown behind this dominant pack. Pretty sure Carlos will make the 6 his.

If carlos were a quality 6 he wouldn't need to be practicing there for months he'd be a natural there and he isn't. Half back is a weakness for us in attack. Sneyd's kicking game is top notch but his game with ball in hand isn't as good so we need someone with a decent running game and some more creativity alongside him.
Personally I'm not convinced carlos' defence is good enough at centre or his attack good enough at 6 but it looks like he'll be our 6 for next season so we have to hope he improves.

Catch and pass? He made several tackle busts and over 100 running metres-one of the team highs. Thought he went ok tbf
