The reason i dont get it is we have a young versatile player in Naughton who is sitting on the sidelines most of the season. I agree about pressure for places but we also have young lads in the under23s who should be stepping up next season

That's like saying don't sign fonua we have Logan, you sign as much quality youth or experience inside the cap.
Connor is a totally different player to Naughton. Connor looks a natural ball player to me. Got a good variety of passing and a decent kicking game. I thinks it's a really astute signing. Naughton will get his chance next year anyway with Michaels leaving.

Naughton is not a regular, Conner adds to competition for places. It's increasing the squad were we don't really need it.
For the record I am an admirer of Conner, but would we be best served with an experienced half?
It is the same as we had outside backs in the camp that could play, lugs spends any funds wisely he's like that!

With the reported injury concerns of Rovers then they could be ready in the poop with or without Peacock donning his boots.
Did you watch the game yesterday? leigh were 42-10 up at half time. hudds are terrible and have to play 2 of the 3 SL sides still. rovers have a couple of easy fixtures then only have to beat hudds at home to be safe.

Rovers and Salford will both beat London and Featherstone. I can't see Huddersfield beating Leeds so that means going into the final round Rovers will be on 8pts, Salford and Huddersfield both on six. Salford should beat Batley so Huddersfield will need to win at the Lightstream.
Potentially all three could end up on eight points but I think Rovers will beat Huddersfield.

Yes I did but it's only my opinion. As bad as Huddersfield were last night they still have quality in there. It will be very close and will go down to the last game with rovers for them & may go down to pts difference between the 3.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
