Thought it was 25 years. The point is that if the Council flog the stadium, the SMC would cease to exist, so any contracts could be null and void. The council could well use monies from the sale to upgrade Costello, then our future would be assured, which was the point of the stadium deal in the first place and also the cosy deal with Caravan Park. All 3 sporting clubs where housed in Council owned stadia, supposedly assuring their futures after the Lloyd terror regime.

If it's true it's really not surprpising,The Allams have got little or no intention of selling i don't think. They'll milk it for all it's worth and talk of the council's willingness to talk to new owners regarding selling them the stadium will only put more blocks in the way.

One member of the consortium is worth £2bn according to burnsy but as there are 10 members in the consortium each one has to be checked overy by the PL fit and proper persons procedure, if one is deemed not a fit an proper purpose it throws the whole bid into a non starter

According to the City forum it could be that one of the consortium has been in money laundering allegations.

Hull will give us a tough game but the key is to silence their fans in the Threepenny Stand. We have to do this because if we do'nt they will get behind their side and lift them in a way you've never seen, heard or witnessed before.
