You think FC would have the squad we currently do without that money? Do you think Pearson would have even wanted to touch the club without the SKY money. I'm not sure that we would survive either, certainly not in our current guise and the costs we have.

That is exactly my point. However, if sky pulled the plug the whole make up of the sport changes. Not just, as suggested by the less intelligent on here, the smaller clubs. Clubs would survive at a semi professional level and there would be a huge exodus to Union and Australian RL. The leftovers would ensure that the game as a whole survives...it would just look very different.

Those with an IQ greater than their shoe size will realise I never once said SL would continue as it is without SKY money but I did respond to the wakey fans whining about SKY moving their game that they only survive due to SKY money which is true. if SKY turned the tap off tomorrow wakey would disappear as they wouldn't be able to pay their bills this month.
