The reasons why our illustrious a chairman gave our (abject failure of a) coach a new contract in February when then season ends (for us) in September?

Will Paul March do the decent thing and resign or will he wait until February next year?

Who will recruit new players or attempt to retain any of our current squad if he stays to the end of his contract?Their lives are more important than that of Paul March as the (failed) coach of the Cougars!

I know what I would do for the sake of the Club were I in his boots.

I await comments from my usual critics.

Didn't Peltier pretty much play every game, but from the bench. Where he makes most impact?

I don't have the money so I suppose that I shouldn't criticise the inept decisions taken by the Board almost three years ago.

But will anyone justify the Board's decision to offer our coach an extended contract when nothing had been achieved ?

Will anyone justify the reason why a contract ends at the start of a new season instead of at the end of the old season?

OR, am I simply living in another world where logical decisions are actually taken?

As much as I appreciate Paul's efforts as a player, the new contract was ridiculous.

After the manner of our relegation we should have brought in someone new capable of creating an environment that could gain us promotion. Too many unfit players, to many platitudes of "well put it right next time".

A contract expiration date in Rugby League is the 30th November. Happy to be off assistance.
