we have no cap space so immaterial really, think there is more chance of players becoming available from relegated SL team and at the moment that could be one of three Danny Brough is the pick from the giants and not got a clue who I would want from the other 2 clubs, but I think we would have to lose someone to bring someone in and I wouldn't want to do that TBH

I wouldn't rule out Justin Carney, as this poster has a really good record of inside Info and we nearly signed him last year, he has recently signed a new deal so it may be dependent on Salford getting relegated.
Michael's has been great this year, but Carney is an upgrade on him and if the club want to sign him, you have to trust their judgement.

Think we will have cap space for one more, think we could offer Micheals a deal and have offered Yeaman one, but the club are saving some money for one more signing.
If Hudds went down, I'd look at Brough, Cudjoe or Mcgillvary.
Rovers I'd have Sio, but he will good back to the NRL.

Radford's said he uses the Bradford model of big outside backs willing to take the ball up (Vainikolo, Vaikona) as it makes life easier for a big pack. Carney is 11th in the comp for metres made so would seem a good fit playingwise, but not culturewise.

I don't think Carney is the same player he was at Cas last year Dave, so at the mo I don't think Carney is an upgrade on Stevie Micheals.
If he came to us and we knew he could turn the clock back a year then I would agree deffo.

Salford I'd look at Josh Jones.
Josh Jones wouldn't get a look in, in our team. Wether you play him centre or back row. Would be a waste of a signing.

Chances are that the bulk of our squad (outside of Yeamo) will be looking at improved deals after the way they've gone this year, so I'm not expecting very much coming in through the door unless we offload someone. But who do we let go ?
If we could bring in even one signing I'd go for a 6, knowing that Carlos would give us good cover at 6 and centre.
Should Stevie Micheals be the one to leave to accommodate a quality 6. I think Curtis gives us good cover at wing, rather than bring in another winger. Would love to keep Stevie, but not if it closes the door on a better 6 than Carlos coming in.
The way Yeamo has performed this year, which has been quite outstanding, Radders may yet give him another year if he thinks he can go round again maintaining that high standard.
Even if we don't bring in a 6, I think Carlos will be under some real pressure to perform next season at an improved level. Especially with the increasing emergence of Jordan Abdull.
If we do bring in a 6 Carlos will play much more at Centre and watch and learn 6 play from an experienced 6.

I still think Connor could owst Carlos from the standoff role. He looks to have the better all round skill set.
