I think given it is our first one, it would draw a big crowd, which would give us a good financial boost. As for the SMC... they can stick their opinions.
I agree, if we don't win the league then it will only be an exhibition game but the chance to watch an nrl team play would be great. Would like to think a big crowd would turn up even if just to see them, I'm thinking of dobbins fans here. It would be a great spectacle.

Once sale does go through, Pearson needs to get in there straight away and start arguing our position. Make our presence really known and show that we are equal to them.

I think getting the game is achievable, however. If we dont get a fair rate from the SMC to host it, and with the SL clubs having to put money in, if it is going to lose the club money then that is something they need to look at.
I think it would be a sell out crowd though - we would be the only Yorkshire team in it so think that Cas, Leeds, Rovers fans would come and get tickets if they are priced fairly

SMC ownership is not tied to ownership of HCFC. Allam could decide to retain ownership of the SMC although it makes more sense to include it in the sale as it would increase City's value to a purchaser.

Would be great to see us taking on a NRL side. Not sure on the possible attendance though. Cannot see a sell out but over 14k would be good. In this year's Saints got 14k, Leeds and Wigan both 19k. Last season Warrington got just over 13k, Saints almost 18k and Wigan 20k.

Not really sure that a takeover by a consortium of chinese property investors would be any better for our future tenure at the kc than the mad egyptian
