Queens Gardens was absolutely rammed (HCC estimate 23k in there).
Unfortunately the PA was pants - couldn't hear a word that was being said on stage but every time a song was played the volume came back. Still glad to be there and be a part of it.

Yes, sound was shocking. Probably the same people who do it at KC.

Was speaking to James Clark tonight as he had taken the challenge cup to the guy who lives opposite me as he sorts the players out with cars (and yes I got a photo with the cup!). I said that Queens gardens was a great venue for it, and he agreed with the sound system but that's the problem with only having 24 hours to prepare for it. He wanted to get a band there and make it a real party but just couldn't get it organised. He said some of the players haven't stopped drinking haha! Some have and they are the ones playing on Friday, but only 4 or 5 players are playing 'the ones who need to' is how he said it so that's players with no obvious back up - so perhaps the centres, Houghton etc.
