Wire fans were a credit to their club and the game. But where were the Wigan, saints, Widnes, Salford fans? Literally I did not see one.

Top fans, I was with my youngest son Harry talking to some of you men at The Torch pub. They were having the banter with him having his Warrington top on and being so big for a 9 year old!

I didn't enjoy the result but overall I had a belting day out thanks in part to your support which I found to be gracious in victory something which can't always be taken for granted. Also met plenty of neutrals, mainly Leeds fans who were complimentary in equal measure to both teams so it was a bit of an after match pick me up as far as I was concerned.

Same, not just the supporters either, Tony Smith, the players, club's social media all completely classy. And as deliriously jubilant as we were, described in more than one paper as "bedlam" in the Hull end, didn't see any goading at all, just full on joy. What. A. Day.

Reading all the posts that are simply about enjoying your clubs win, make it easier to take the defeat.

More often than not some fans revel in the other side losing just as much as their own team winning. But I've read some real nice tales of just pure delight at the win. Particularly of fans walking out of wembley victorious with grandparents who thought they'd never see the day. ... its great stuff. ..

Its a good strong side with decent players right across the park and you don't have those players fans hate like Mccarthy scarsbrook Wilkin or Tomkins Farrell O'loughlin etc....its as if they are in the mold of Radford.no nonsense honest pro's .....and some talented individuals aswell.

Unfortunately i think that was our best shot at silverware this season and we are going to be without Gidley and Westwood for a while.
