Can't see us beating saints a week after wembley. We struggled to beat wigan's u19's in 2013.
I'd sack that game off and play the U23's then target the wigan and wire home games and maybe look at giving one or two a rest against wakey subject to how they're going at that point. Win those 3 and the saints result is irrelevant anyway. I still have a feeling the GF may be a step too far for us this year and will probably be a wire v wigan final if they don;t play each other in the semi

Agree with the targeting of games but not about the GF. Can't see any reason why it should be a step too far at all - we're currently top on merit and regardless of the result at Wembley we've beaten all the teams in the mix (some multiple times). We have really good depth and that will continue to serve us well in these last few weeks. Hull are the team to beat in the league in my opinion.

Another one of your imaginary free hits. You completely contradict your own point...again. Why would Hull consider "sacking a game off". The more points we accumulate the higher we finish, thus a Wire v Wigan semi becomes more likely.

I don't think the final will take it out of us as much as the semi final did. But I would look to rest 2 or 3 preferably the forwards, as we have good cover there. Taylor, Houghton and Minichiello possibly? It's a lot of quality to rest at once but bring in the likes of Thompson, Hadley and Turgut would be an option.
We could still turn Saints over for a fourth time with them replacements then a fresher squad for the Wigan clash.
Personally I think Warrington will end up with the league leaders shield, with us finishing second. But for me 2016 will always be the season Hull FC won the league.

Hull won the regular season and the LLS should be awarded then after everyone has played each other. Not after the playoffs which is a different tournament. Why wait to give it out after the playoffs, it's stupid.

If we played everyone twice your argument would hold more sway.

Because those are the rules, the "the regular season" is as fair as after 30 games.
If we wanted to be totally fair and have the "true" league winners we'd have to scrap the magic result.
