Watching the build up to the Super Bowl in Feb this year you would see Panthers 'milking' the pre match limelight.
They were celebrities in their own lunch time and wall to wall social media coverage on top of cameras and interviews.
Denver Broncos kept a low profile. They had been smashed by Seattle in a recent Super Bowl.
Panthers were favourites. Broncos hadn't read the script and 'destroyed' the Panthers.
There are so many lessons to learn there. Also many from Sport in general.
LONDON 2012 - living here in Melbourne I saw swimming Australia and some swimmers lay the blame totally on social media. The swimmers said they believed their own hype and with 100 messages a day telling you how good you are it induces complacency.
LONDON 2012 - a Brit shooter was trained by a Dubai Prince. 3 months from the Games he took the mobile phone from the shooter saying he didn't need the distractions. He made him take 50,000 practice shots in that 3 months. He won GOLD with his 2nd to last shot.
I really do advocate a 'low profile' and removal of phones from the players. Stay in the Hotel and focus 100% on winning this Cup. They have one and only one job to do.
Become a celebrity when you've won something and don't believe your hype.

Think Radders is on top of it, the hype hasn't got to the lads too much as they've found an extra gear in the last few weeks and know what battle lies ahead.

they were pretty much non-existant on social media leading up to the semi-final. I would imagine there will the obligatory Wembley selfie when they go to the Stadium on the Friday but this is a very professional and close knit group

Thi^^^^ How can you possibly compare the two sports? Ones shiiite and the others top notch. Leave you to decide which way round it goes. Radford will not leave a stone unturned.
