I suppose you're not too confident next week then? could be season over if we lose again and saints have got to be favourites on current form.
No, I'm not at all. I think Saints have an unremarkable squad and an unremarkable coach, but at least they have sharpened up at the business end of the season, which is more than we have.
He's definitely got pace and a decent swerve and likes to take people on the outside. I'm sure we could coach that out of him though and use him as an extra prop in our own quarter.

aboveusonlypie... If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.
With Manfredi out for 12 months give or take, I was thinking Steve Michaels could be a handy signing on a 1 year deal?
He's been a steady performer for Hull and seems to perform well in big games and with him being released at the end of the year, I imagine you could get him on a reasonable money.
I know a goal kicker is priority but I think Manfredi is a massive loss and I'm not convinced by either Tierney or Gildart on the wing. An experienced pro could be a shrewd signing.
What are people's thoughts?
"Games as big as a grand finals define individuals and clubs. Remember we are only renting these shirts, I had my time in Pat Richards shirt. Ellery and Faz had there time in Sean's, Hampo and Radders in Sam's. You have to make a mark in these shirts that's still there the day you hand it over to someone else. So be aware for 80 minutes you are not only playing but also writing history and creating a legacy. How many people get to actually write history, not many. A big stage demands big players, be inspired. You play for Wigan, now go do it. Good luck." - Martin Offiah, 2010.
Had the same thoughts myself when I heard he was out of contract and leaving Hull.
He's a handy player. He isn't in the class of Manfredi or Burgess but he's certainly better then our alternative options and he's played a bit of Centre which could be very useful.
One worry I have currently is that I see the Burgess clan (including the mother) putting pressure on Joe Burgess to stay at South Sydney. That would be a huge blow if he did decide to change his mind. Fingers crossed its just banter.
