Probably one of the shorter journey's of Hull fans, 35-40 min drive and a 20 minute walk. Makes up for the journeys up to Hull in a small way. The sacrifice some fans are making is outstanding, let's hope that their efforts are rewarded. 7th time lucky for me (80-2013) but classify the '81 & '86 finals I attended as a sweet result watching the red & white sh 1 te welling up in dissapoinment.

Saw Rovers lose in '64 and win in '80. Team I have seen win most at Wembley is Wigan(6) followed by Wakefield(3). All between'50 and '85.

Good point OP amended. I left early to get a good place on the KOP at Elland Road

For those thinking of parking at Stanmore it gets quite busy. Drive down to the next station on the line Cannons Park (about a mile) and there is a Car Park with almost no one on it.

That was pretty much me. 4 Wembley losses and one draw has my stomach churning. When I think that my grandfather never saw a Wembley win and my father never saw Wembley win it starts to look like a seriously large achievement, and historic event. I must be getting old.
Also, opted for the alcohol-free driving day to enable us pick up a friend from Sheffield on the way as her husband's already booked the full weekend in London with his brother.
