Carlos came on and changed the game against Rovers at magic and I think was promoted to first choice 6 on the back of it. I didn't have any objections at all but in hindsight it probably isn't the best option going forward. He has all the ability in the world (even the other night he showed a couple of flashes of brilliance), but for me his skills are better used at centre. My mind is bound to change several times between now and next season, but currently I would like to see:

Agree about carlos. He also doesn't seem very robust and if he's our first choice 6 next year I can see abdul getting plenty of game time
Agree with this also. Dont get me wrong I like Carlos as a player but for me he just doesnt seem to gel with Sneyd or the rest of the team when he is playing at 6. When you compare Abdulls last 2 performances in the same position at 6 I thought he brought an awful lot more to the 17 than Carlos does. In defence of Carlos he had just come back from another lay off so that may have some bearing on it.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

He missed a long penalty away at Cas that would have given us an 8 point lead fairly late on. Thankfully Tickle missed that conversion and so it didn't matter. There may have been another one or two, but nothing springs to mind

Like Sinfield at Leeds, Sneyd always making every try into six points puts pressure on the other team. Abdull just a back up for me Carlos will start at 6, thought he played well friday and caused them problems, plus his defence better than Abdull's.
Always the Optimist never the Pessimist. Glass Half full not half empty man me.

Disagree thought Carlos was average on Friday and was easily beaten by Williams for the 1st Wigan try (as he wasn't set properly). He did grow into the game and finished well, but overall I thought he didn't do enough to warrant being called up ahead of Abdull. However we got he result and that's what mattered. Think the real problem though is that he has picked up a few injuries that has prevented him getting an extended run in the team, thus not allowing him to build up a understanding/partnership with Sneyd.

I'd like to see Fonua stay at Centre. After a shaky start he's growing into the role and with more experience he could be a very special player. Either way it's great to have such a dilemma.
