We're in France for a fortnight and the final's the middle Saturday so we're flying back for it then going back to France. Sort of our own fault, but was the only fortnight we could both get off work in the summer holidays and never imagined the season would go this well. Would be rubbish to miss the final having plugged away at freezing pre season games at Donny etc - just has to be done.
great work

i'm on holiday that week in the back of beyond in Wales at the world alternative games. i'm interrupting the holiday to head to wembley and back on the saturday. there's some irony in this as in 2005 i was at the leeds festival and missed the saturday to drive to cardiff and back. of course if this year's final was in cardiff it would have been a jolly little jaunt of an hour or so, but instead i've got a lengthy journey on country lanes an b roads and wont see a motorway until swindon.

I hope so great effort, I once thought it a good idea to have a week in Newquay wales and a week in Skegness 8 hours drive later I arrived in skeggy never again it look so little on the map as well, safe journey and as you say its an omen TBH there's a lot of Omens which are pointing the same as they did in 2005 our route to the final been one all tough super league teams is one which sticks out

On a family holiday in North Wales from 20th to 27th August. I knew it was RL Cup Final weekend but thought, what the hell, I'll sort it if necessary.
When we beat Catalans I immediately booked a day return from Chester to London Euston on the 27th, just in case.
So, on the day of the final, I will now be getting a taxi around 7am to Prestatyn rail station, train to Chester, then connecting to a train at Crewe on the West Coast main line down to London Euston for which I have a pre booked seat.
So, I ask myself, just how many Warrington fans will be on the West Coast main line train when I board at Crewe in my Hull shirt?
And how will I fare on the return journey on the same day if we win?

"In fact, the days of us signing any players from across the river are over. Our fans are loyal, passionate and only interested in one club. Taking players from our nearest rivals doesn't fit in with that brief."

I'm coming from Aus for the fifth time for Hull Wembley CC finals. Didn't come for the last couple against Wigan and Saints. Went to the other 2 when I lived in England.
A final against Warrington is what I have always wanted. My first visit to Wembley for a CC final saw a Warrington win(1950).

Lets hope it is for us all. I don't wanna be sat on the steps round the side of The Torch pub again, on my own, after the masses had gone, staring into a half empty plastic glass of Stella, in the pouring rain. At least it disguised what was running down my face。
