Completely agree. If their pack can give him time and space to play, he could be the difference. Even if they don't he can create summat from nowt, which could be crucial if it is close. More likely, IMO, is that you'll strangle the life out of them for long periods, which'll be a very sound foundation.

Tony Smith is a pretty savvy coach though - Wire will be well prepared and will pose a serious challenge. On paper, it is an intriguing match-up, and weather permitting I'd expect it to be a compelling game.

The old addage keeps banging around my head "the pack gets you there but the backs win it". We have a huge pack and it's certainly got us there but can our backs win it? I say, YES, provided they all perform as well as they can.

that old saying is old our backs are as big as forwards now and our forwards are as fast and mobile as backs despite been big if we beat them upfront and not allow sandow and Gidley to play we win bring them on
