I wouldn't risk Carlos and leave Abdul at 6 but Pryce has the big game expeiruence so a bit of a dilemma.....my only concern is Wigan cant play that bad 2 matches in a row and if u stop Williams u stop Wigan, discard Smith as hr is utterly crap

Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Hi Baldy, funny how we see things slightly differently with Smithy and Williams.

I always see Smithy as very under-rated and a key cog in Wigans attacking decisions and game management. For me he's as important to their side as O'Loughlin is. I think his organising presence was critical for them when Lockers was out.

In Williams case, Yes I agree we need to stop him.
The thing is, I know he has loads of promise and is still young, but I don't see him as a true pivot yet, in that he runs the ball so much and rarely looks for a pass in the final 3rd even when its clearly on.
So I think his selfish predictability and shyness to spread the play will be his own worst enemy, and something Radders will have identified and planned for in our defensive line to nullify his running threat.
Well I hope so !!

:thumb: Watts's scan on his calf injury described as "positive".

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

agree with this Williams is a big threat for Wigan with ball in hand and with his kicking but if hes on mini side then like he did webbo in the derby who is similar if not better running game he can handle him if he's on the other side manu will be key, I thought mini was fantastic in defence in the derby so quick out the line and instead of just stood watching a half he goes in and makes the tackle stopping there momentum time and again hope he's fit big player both in attack and defence

This game is all about our defensive intensity for me. Wigan are poor with ball in hand and if we give them no room they will struggle. Drop off the defence and we'll lose

So all the Wigan players got off apart from Frank Paul Nuuausala who got a Grade A NFA-1 but with EGP will play. As expected.

Good. He's completely unfit, ineffective and a complete liability. I hope taylor gets under his skin and frank tramples on him
