Need to get him signed up on a long term deal, so much class.
I haven't seen anything of the 23s unfortunately, but for me it looked like more like an application of attitude was missing. He was (and still is) fat. He needed to stop sneaking out to mcdonalds, shift some of it, and get his act together. Looks like that may have started, and hopefully it will pay off.
I thought he played pretty well and his fitness looked better than it did last time he played first team for us. He did take the wrong option a few times but you'd expect that with a young player. He's definitely benefitted from his spell at fev but he needs to drop some weight if he's going to make it at the top level long term. Still OOC at the end of teh year isn't he?
For me he gets the 6 shirt in the semi final. Far more physical in defence then Pryce or Tuimavave and that will be needed against Wigan. I thought he was good with the ball too and could be a long term option for our number 6 'problem'

Just glad we entered a team into the 23s. He's a classic example of a player taken out of the first team pressure situation when struggling with fitness and performance level. Although it was a big game last night he brought the confidence he's built from that competition with him and looked far more assured. Well done AP for making the investment - you deserve to reap the rewards.

Can't fault Abdull's performance last night, looks like he has been working hard on his fitness and looks to have lost some of the excess he was carrying at the start of the season.
For me he is a better option at 6 than both Pryce and Tuimavave, looked defensively sound too.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I wished I'd seen this comment pre game. If I had I'd have asked then question "Does a player not deserve a second chance to shine?" He has only played a handful of games and for a player of his age has hardly let the side down in a big way.
Now I have seen this comment after the game, I hope you are big enough to take back this comment.
Abdull contributed significantly in both attack and defense. The only real blot on his copy book was the rank bad kick from 25 yards out in the first half which he was hoping Usain Shaul was going to get on the end of.

But that was just execution, it was a fantastic option and the type of play we dont see normally from Carlos T or Pryce
