Ill give you Soliola as he was pretty damn good at Saints. Hodgson, for me, always showed signs that he could be good but i would never have thought he could develop as well as he has. for me though, Turner is just no good at all and ill be very surprised if he done anything over there but im happy to be proved wrong

I'm not sure either Turner or Sarginson are powerful enough to make it as an NRL centre. I look at their outside backs and they always seem to be significantly stronger than their SL equivalents. That's why Hall and McGillvary went so much better at international level than Charnley and Burgess IMO even though the latter two had great seasons in SL the years they were picked.

Fair point, although not all NRL centres are massive blokes; Kevin Naqama isn't that big, and he does OK.

Turner is too slow to play centre in SL, not skilful enough to play in the halves and lacks the size or intensity to play in the forwards in SL.

Expecting him to suddenly go to the NRL and get a place is laughable.

Sarg will go well in the NRL in my opinion. The days of top class centres at every club are gone. Tip centres are unfortunately these days as rare as hens teeth.

Many top NRL centres these days are converted wingers.

Sarg has the work ethic, fitness and toughness to make a name for himself all be it at an average club.

More chance of plaiting snot than Turner ever nailing down a starting jumper in the NRL.

Or converted second-rowers. We moan when SL clubs do this, but plenty of NRL sides do the same.

He's awful mate. He's one of the softest players ever to play the game. Any little knock and he's off. He's got no heart and I'll be over the moon to see him go.

Possibly the worst defender ever to play the game.

I'll get the popcorn in next year when he plays as it's going to be entertaining.

Although Turner is utter rubbish, he is a big guy and he's getting bigger week by week, in fact he's huge for a centre.

Turner is also pretty quick for his size, when he puts the foot down he can certainly move.

The bottom line though, he is crap and be lucky to play a game. He will be crapping it as he plays with fear and imo will be happy to sit in sun and not play for 2yrs.

You think Sargison will be successful? Really ? He lacks any size, he's very very small. His defence is on par with Turners' as being one of the worst I've ever seen.

Both will hardly play and both will be a flop.

At least we didn't want to keep Turner as we told him he can go and was looking nailed on for hudds but Wigan wanted to keep Sargison.

I can see Sargison back at Wigan after one year.

I would be amazed if Wigan ever took Sarginson back. His defence is poor and he cannot pass in fact for me he is the worst passer of a ball I have ever seen for a back at Wigan. His one strength is work rate which for the game now is enough to guarantee some players a spot particularly in Aussie where to have no brain or finesse is a prerequisite for selection.
Sarginson will not be missed by the Wigan management and there will probably be a queue offering to drive him to the airport.

You obviously see him more then me so fair do's. I always look at him and I see a guy who's talented but his attitude doesn't always look to be where it needs to be. I just wonder if the NRL will make the penny drop a little. If he gets himself fit in the off season he may make a decent crack of it.

If he fails in guessing you won't welcome him back to Saints
