Can you name a halfback in the league that doesn't fade out of game, even players like Sandow and Gale do it, it's usually when their forwards are losing the battle.
I still don't think he has had enough of a run there, he may have played a few games there, but can't have played more than 2/3 games on the trot and has left the field early on 3 occasions.
It's ok saying don't sign Connor and signs 6, buts easier said than done.
Who is available and wants to come? Do we have enough salary cap space to sign a halfback better than we have?

Very few half backs have dominated in Super League this year. Like you say, good players like Sandow, Gidley and Gale often drift in and out of games depending on how their forwards are doing. Carlos may or may not be the answer, but it's hard to judge on the limited game time he's played at half back. Wigan, in my opinion, have poor half backs but they are still very strong and difficult to beat. Would anyone swap Carlos for Williams?. Not me.

I'm yet to be convinced Carlos is the answer at six. That's not to say he's been particularly poor there, or that he won't come good, just that I don't feel he's shown enough yet to prove he's the six we need.
As some have pointed out, the nature of the sport means that halfbacks will drift in and out of matches due to the ebb & flow of a game - sides with momentum and on top of the opposition will allow a half to shine. If you're playing chunks of a game in your own 30/40m, you'll rarely use the half & they can appear to go missing. I wouldn't hold this against him to be honest.

Why not give Abdull another go. He's earnt the right, been MOM in the last 4 U23s games I think. We are very quick to drop these lads, both him and Logan were quickly discarded, Yeamo has rightly kept Logan out but now Carlos is injured, Pryce out of favour, we should play Abdull.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

I would go along with that. He was made the scapegoat for Widnes hammering when more experienced players were lucky not to be dropped.

you are probably correct but the lad wasnt fit enough so didnt do himself any favours. if he gets himself into real shape and increase his fitness levels he could also add a bit more pace to his game. I think Pryce will play against HKR but i wont be concerned if Abdul starts.
