Dont normally moan about refs but i thought he was very poor last night. It was like he was in awe of Leeds or something and just let them constantly lie on and forward pass

did anyone else think he lost count a couple of times with tackles in a set and we ended up with 7?

Don't think anyone's blaming the ref for the defeat but i did think he was poor and i rarely criticise referee's. Even the video ref for the dropped ball/kick decision seemed to be looking for a way to give it,one camera angle clearly showed he never made contact with his foot and he only looked at it once and then went on to study a grainy image i think was shot from the moon.

that summed up the total farce of the try no try system, the video ref had to look for reasons to give the try due to campbell signalling try! get rid of this system and go back to referring decisions simply asking is it a try or not

as for campbell, not a great game, the pass form lilley that slipped out of his hands and went to ground yet campbell and the linesmand ignored, thankfully fonaus' ball steal one on one meant it didnt cost us

i still think we would have won if mini and carlos didnt go off injured but we cant blame the ref for the loss, are forwards were out on their feet at the end

2 reasons for it not to be a try but the on field referee gave it.

He missed the ball steal on Lilley in the build up to Hull's first try.

Don't think anyones looking for tit for tat decisions and claiming he was just poor against hull just that he was poor in general. i though Fonua knock on leading to Leeds try was clearly backwards but he did even it up with a similar call against Leeds in the second half,how you can knock on facing your own line is beyond me.
