Can't argue with the players mentioned, Maher was a better value for money player, not sure he was a better player though.

Whether that is the case or not, he doesn't look fit, and certainly hasn't done enough to keep his place. If, as I said before, we are going with Carlos at 6, then he should be playing there for the rest of the season.

We've supposedly offered a contract to gaskell but he's going to hudds as they've offered him another £30k a season. Good I say. Give carlos a go next year but if he's not cutting it we need to recruit a quality 6 for me

Would like to recruit a back up hooker if Litten isn't ready.

Don't see the point in signing a hooker to play in the reserves, waste of cap.

Until we know who's been retained (Abdul, HTW?) I suppose we don't know if we need half back cover or not.
Would love a Shaun Berrigan type player who can play well at half back or hooker. Just worrying should anything happen to Houghton, or we lose a half back to injury/loss of form.
Would Godinet be the type of player to look at?
I know LR said no one else was coming in, but is that dependant on retentions?
