Don't know why people get so wound up by Wane or some of the silly faction of Wigans' fans, it's meaningless twaddle. Getting involved in this type of thing does no-one any good, in fact for those minority of fans that take it too far (on both sides) it can and does end up with confrontation at the match and we in no way want any aggro before, during or after.
ATEOTD we have 7 overseas players, in reality we probably do play a higher % in the 17 than most teams on a regular basis, so what, it's within the rules, we play a lot of homegrown players and the overseas players add more than just on the field too.
When the goons were winning with signings from all corners of the country as well as those from overseas and splashed the cash more than any team had ever done before and since should we be taking their trophy's away because of that?
Wane knows exactly what he is doing and just wants to get under the skin of everbody for his own benefit.

In the interview after the draw he said we are unbeatable but they will give it a go. He also said that he doesnt have 10 Nrl stars in his side like we do, he just has 10 lads from Wigan

Sounds like fairly standard stuff, try and make the opposition the favourites to relieve pressure. I'm sure Wane secretly wishes he had a few more NRL stars to compliment the local lads.

To the ones who have got wound up, if Wane didn't think you are more than capable (and you are) of winning the semi he wouldn't feel any comment was necessary so take it as a compliment to the way your team has performed this year.

Each to their own I suppose but I like a bit of pre match mind games to create interest and build up to the biggest game of the year so far.

One good thing is, as it's on the BBC it wont be the usual Sky Sam Tomkins appreciation society!

He seems to be having digs at us all year. Before the game at the DW, he hinted towards our players getting cocky and being all over Twitter etc...then we went and beat them comfortably. He seems to have a bit of a bee in his bonnet.

Plus, i dont know where he gets the 10 NRL stars from. Bit ape's arent known for their counting abilities

I find comparing Wane to an Ape quite disgusting and disrespectful, to apes everywhere!
