Gigot gets a 1 match ban.

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Mrs Barista wrote:Agreed. In terms of Catalans, last week:
"Dave Taylor and Justin Horo will miss the trip and join Paul Aiton, Louis Anderson, Vincent Duport, Greg Mounis, Richie Myler, Krisnan Inu, Willie Mason and Olivier Elima on the club injury list."
Apparently Taylor hasn't trained but Mason, Horo and Myler will be back? Not sure about the others, most long term I think. Gigot could have a ban too.

Pretty strong performance from them at wire with 10 front line players out. They would have won if pelissier hadn't gone in high and late on gidley after that kick

Pryce back to 6, with possibly Carlos on the bench. Still think Carlos is more suited to centre, several coaches moved him away from that position in oz despite his early junior International representation there and Radford clearly saw him as a centre with possibility to cover for 6.
Whilst giving him a go there isn't a bad idea I don't think he's shown enough to say yup, that's the 6 jersey sorted for next year and be confident about it. It's not that he'd do a terrible job but his worth in the centres is more, but then it's not like we have a dearth of centres for next year which kind of decrees what route Radford is going, missing out on an experienced 6 for next year certainly has changed hings.

Sat is going to be very close, we've been getting off the hook and winning ugly a bit the last few games and some mistakes creeping in, some 'injured' Catalans players will be taking the field for sure so they are going to field a strong side and there certainly isn't much in the teams. It really depends which FC side turns up because Carney will hammer us if we don't switch on.

In playing in the NRL for 2 clubs after his stellar junior career Tuimavave found stiff competition at 6. Moving up at the Warriors he had Chad Townsend and James Maloney and at Newcastle Jarrad Mullen and Kurt Gidley. At Newcastle he was unsuccessfully tried as a centre where he was targeted in defense. He also played at fullback in the reserves but was mostly picked at 6.

I believe he came to Hull predominantly to play at 6 as a replacement for Pryce next season.

Be a tough game, hopefully we'll come out with the win and a Semi Final at Doncater or Huddersfield...

Radford clearly stated that Carlos will be stand off next season, in his aftermatch interview, listening in the car, sat in Cas car park till 18-00, Sunday. I've SEEN and heard enough to say "yup, that's the six jersey, sorted". FC will be more clinical come Saturday, a la Saints, a win all the way to Wembley for me. With the players coming in next season, back line will be sorted with cover in all positions.

I've not viewed anything much other than the score from sunday and a couple of posts here, so that confirms really what we already knew. He certainly has the talent, maybe that we've not being at our best for a few games that I haven't felt 100% confident he's our man but then that's the route we are going so I'm okay with that. The proof will be in the pudding as they say.
I hope your prediction that we get back to playing better than we have in an all guns blazing performance comes true, we'll need it against Cats. I'll be in the city but can't attend as have something more important to attend to, I'll have to wait until it comes out on FC live to watch and won't even get the score until late afternoon.

I see Wigan's Ben Flower pleaded guilty to a grade C dangerous throw, which was downgraded to grade B with a 1 match ban.
He then appealed, and it was downgraded to grade A and the ban was lifted.

No way is that true. Our disciplinary process would be an absolute laughing stock if it were
