Take some time to read it again, it's not seeing the worst, I asked a genuine question. If we are signing soon to be 22yrd olds (come Oct) who is not a particularly stand out player which doesnt say hes rubbish either. And yes he is a 'cast-off', otherwise Hudds would be retaining him so by definition that is true. As we have not had a youngster cement a position in the team as i mentioned and have supposedly signed Connor then it IS a sign the club do not have faith in the ability of our younger players otherwise why the heck are we signing this type of player at all?
That in no way is seeing the worst but a consideed question/query based on what has and has not happened.
It's funny how other supporters see you knocking anything the club does eh? do you have FACTS that hudds didn't want to retain him? His try scoring & assists are very good for a team 2nd bottom, but you knock him before he even puts on a shirt for us. If anything he wants to test himself coming to a new team so let's see how he goes before you can claim him a cast off with no pedigree.

mmmm.....If I was asked to play and could pick a position I would go centre. Just seems less mentally challenging.
Defensively you need to defend a 2 on 2 or if outnumbered 3 on 2 , be clever and don't let number 1 attacker draw you in.
When I coached we thought centre was a safe place to blood a youngster. By the way every position is a tough gig however centre seems to marginally scrape it.

From twitter
James smailes Told Huddersfield not happy about losing Connor, for obvious reasons when a young talent goes. He'll have a fight to get in FC team

The main point is why can't we produce them ?
Did you? You've never mentioned it before.
Because defending in the centres for Skirlaugh under 11's is the same as playing pro RL....

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.   Regards,  Matthew

So much for a cast off
So twitter is the font of all knowledge...ok. Huddersfield have let him go, It doesn't add up if he was such a 'talent', better than any other player from within our junior ranks and a genuinely outstanding player why are they letting him go, why is he not being considered to stay at hudds and be a mainstay in their side? Surely someone so good would have been signed up by them for longer so at least they would be getting a fee if they couldn't keep him and be under the cap right?
And the question I asked, why are our own youngsters not good enough/not deemed good enough to do the job that JC is being employed for? Is there a genuine lack of player talent coming through, on the face of signing this young man I'd say there was room for concern, where is the next batch of youngsters coming from?
Asking genuine questions is met by idiotic posters with an axe to grind, completely frozen mindset that see any question as a threat/attack/being negative about the club and the usual trolls like Doom & Gloom whom can't string together a cogent response never mind hold a green crayon to colour in their silly picture.

Why not let the young man play a few games and base your opinion on that? You strike me as the kind of person who has historical issues with French and German people, shall we buy you some Sanatogen to get you through the week? Or maybe tennalady?

FFS, THEY HAVENT LET HIM GO, HEHAS CHOSEN TO LEAVE THEM AND SIGN FOR US.
I really don't think you understand the game at all, if you can't understand that you need a squad to be successful, we are losing long Pryce and Micheals and have replaced them other players, as shown there are still plenty of Hull youngsters around and as Radford had shown he will given them a chance if needed.
I'd be surprised if you have seen him play, Huddersfield, the majority of there fans are disappointed he is leaving and his stats this season on a poor team steroid, despite being played out of position, sure you are just being negative for the sake of it.
