Seems about right, that is how much those Americans have just put into Swansea, similar size club and they don't own their ground either. Be interesting to watch them seen as Ospreys play at their ground, see how they get treated.
As for city, I will go start counting my coppers in my piggy bank

Will Ehab pocket the 170 million for going up? Is that doled out in stages or has it to be used for specifics. Allam always claimed to have put over 80 million into City, if true, they're are making a lot on any deal.

Indirectly he might, I can imagine the initial payment may go towards paying off debts the club owe to whatever company Allam used to loadn the money (£70M+wasn't it).
Interesting that the Kraft family who own the patriots are heavily linked with City, they based their sporting business model on stadium ownership and used this to acquire the club and grow it, think they own the soccer team who play there as well. Wonder if an owner like that came in if they would want (try) to buy out Pearson as well as the ground to replicate what they have in New England.

Is this where the rumours about AP being involved come from. He would be the ideal man to run the SMC plus oversee the Kraft ownership day to day running of both clubs. If so, I'd be happy for a sale of the stadium.

Every penny city received from Mr Allam was a loan, costing 4% per annum, not a bad return at today's interest rates.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

More of a gamble than an investment with football at that level, innit?
He's won, more than earned a return. Tbf the stakes, risk taken on, and the mechanics of any sale means that 4% is really neither here nor there.
