It is however mildly amusing when the glory fan ditches the club when in turmoil, then returns when things look rosier in the garden and claims the title of lifelong, loyal fan again!
It's more the "over my dead body" style pouting speech and flouncing out of the office with a door slam like Joan Collins in Dynasty backed up by sneaking back in through the tradesman's exit for a party and ignoring the big death thing. Like Patrick Duffy's shower scene, although that was Dallas.
In the scheme of things does it actually matter if they choose to post or not regardless of what was said previously at another point in time when emotions were running high. This forum is for everyone not just for the likes of you and your ilk. We are performing well, playing largely entertaining rugby and mostly winning. Why can't we just all get along and enjoy our current form without continued infighting, nitpicking and dragging up old pointless posts?

It does matter as if loads of others had thought like him and didn't buy a pass or turn up for games the club would have really struggled financially and it would have hindered our recruitment for the future.
It was a massive overreaction, as mentioned in that thread there were plenty of positives last season and lots to look forward to this year, but the poster went way over the top and was totally wrong.
Luckily most fans stuck with the club, those who choose to abandon the club in one of the most crucial seasons in years deserve some critism.
People mock Knockers but he still stuck with the club I and bought a membership.

Are you enjoying our current form? You've posted nothing for five weeks whilst we've been winning, yet had so much to say after the Widnes defeat. Just an observation, could be argued a bit disproportionate. I don't think I've told anyone what to post, have I? If you're going to be as provocative as starting a thread on the death of the club and the end of your support for it, you should be able to take it in good part when you do a 180 IMO. Look how you slated me for suggesting we gave Radford some credit in the early part of the season. You overdid it accusing me of "gushing praise" (which you were called out on by others) but so what? Turning out OK so far which I'm sure we're all pleased about.

"As I've put in another thread, the club served up overhyped dross for most of a decade, and I have no regrets giving any criticism. This season has been a pleasant surprise with fantastic effort and good rugby, and I have posted several positive posts. Now is the time for the club and fans to unite and grow, not stand bickering over the mistakes of 2008-2015."
I believe contrary to this. A successful club will thrive on it's own. The time for the "club and fans to unite and grow" is in times of woe when a club needs it's fan base to stay loyal and be patient!! Granted it was difficult at times but you dont just throw in the towel and do one!

Except despite not getting a pass I've attended all but two home games this year (which is about normal even when I have a pass due to holidays and other commitments) so the clubs still had my money. I've just ceased blindly giving them hundreds of pounds up front every September without knowing what the standard of entertainment on offer will be.
If the club puts on entertaining rugby (note I haven't stated they need to win, I'd class losing/drawing a tight end to end game as a good effort and a good night out) I'll show up for the next game, if it's boring dross (see 2014, the dead rubber end to last season, the entire Agar era...) I won't. Over time our form and better rugby might generate enough goodwill to convince me to become a passholder again, signs are promising so far I've enjoyed this season more than any other since 2006 or 2007.

My problem with this is, it appears now you can't have an opinion just incase you're wrong. I was still pro Radford but understood those sceptical of him. There's nothing wrong with being wrong. Odds suggested we shouldn't be where we are now. But that's sport! Time to come together.

I see what you are saying but there is a difference between having a valid opinion, which ever side of the fence it sits and being over sensationalistic.
Its as though some had never experienced Tony Gordon, Peter Walsh and David Lloyd.
Petitions to have the coach removed, apart from being utterly pointless, it screamed out spitefulness. Using phases like "terminal decline" and "overhyped dross" show a high level of shortsightedness. This presenting information on here as fact when it was actually unsubstantiated or merely that persons opinion didn't help certain individuals.
Its as though the comments from Pearson when Radford was appointed regarding clearing the decks of those on large, unwarranted contract and the fact it was going to take a number of years to sort this were ignored by some.
Its fans who set their own expectation levels, but if the words of the man in charge had been listened to , those levels should have been realistic fro the off.
