Much better second half by sounds of it, was listening to Radio Merseyside, pretty balanced commentating and no DDD!!

First half wasn't great but got the win and that is all that matters, 6 point gap from 4th to 5th now too.

Poor quality first half but we really turned it on in the second forty.

Yeaman was good for us tonight, Stevie Michaels was as reliable as ever. Carlos showed some class and Taylor was great again.

We missed Watts tonight, sounds like he'll be back next week though.

Apart from a 20 minute spell in the second half it was a largely forgettable game. Poor handling from both teams made it a tedious first half. As for widnes, I saw quicker clearing the ruck speed last week on TV watching championship teams in the big bash.

Very poor quality game but once again we found a way to win. The rotation of the forwards in the second half was key. Taylor immense once again, Mini, Michaels and Yeaman had big games. Fonua needs to cut out errors. Thankfully no injuries should have a fully fit squad for next week.
