On that note I think I will leave it another 6 years to post, because nobody knows ( unless Dave did these boys contracts) that McRae gave these boys "silly money" I like facts not fiction!!!

How can any player be put on a silly contract not even played at the top level? Some fans know nothing about the game if they think this should be justified!

I don't know what amount we're talking about, all I'm saying is, if there is now a wage stucture in place it has to be adhered to. If he really wanted to play for us, then he would've seen the bigger picture, and taken the short term pain, for the long term gain. From what I've seen, he is clearly a good prospect, but at the moment he is too far down the pecking order to be made any kind of special offer.

If he's down the pecking order now and Moto Tony in Aus looking for another half back and been asked to take a pay cut would you stick around its a short career and if you turn down a good offer who's to say another one will be offered in a year or so

This. Plus, you either have a wage structure or you don't. If you make an exception, it's open to every player to claim they're "special".

Whether I'd stick around, would depend on my desire to play for Hull FC. I'm not knocking him for taking a bigger offer. I'm saying that, we have a wage structure, and we have to stick to it.

People are judging him on every performance he's made in the last few months. But last night epitomises his problems. Someone of his talent who aspires to regular SL should have had much more impact on that game, losing side or not. As it was he hardly got involved at all and looked bang average.

Nope. Apart from a couple of flashes of the talent he undoubtedly possesses he was pretty average. And in a couple of matches he was poor.
Hold on to me baby, his bony hands will do you no harm It said in the cards, we lost our souls to the Nameless One

Tripe. He was much better than that. Showed some real good stuff at times. As expected at that age had a couple of games were he struggled but had some real promise about him. But had some major contributions in a number of games. Go have a watch of kr game at their place after losing pryce early. Still only 20. So I'll certainly trust my own eyes and give him benefit of the doubt. Given we're currently top with players like Bowden Green houghton naughton Sneyd yeaman n Pryce who were all poop or bang average or won't make it according to many on here only a matter of months ago

Has abdul lost any weight? That's his main problem IMO. If he can lose some weight, gain some speed and improve his endurance he has a chance. if he doesn't he'll be the next scott murrell

The last few months, when have you seen him play? Have you attended any Fev or Resereve games?
The last sentence proves to me you don't watch games ( too busy moaning about the ref or listening to the radio), he did well last year, you could dig up threads with him been praised by fans and the coaching team, he has work to do, but he has great talent which he had shown already in patches in SL.
