I'm enjoying this season, not because of where we are but because of where others are....namely the usual suspects.
If we beat Saints next up that puts a bit of daylight between 4th and 5th with only Wigan being an almost consistent SL top 4 team.

Those putting a bet on FC finishing the regular season above Rovers probably didn't expect a pay out in May.

Are people forgetting that the league season ends after 30 games, not 23? You don't get the LLS until then. Being top after 23 rounds means nothing. No trophy. No WCS. Literally nothing.

The league continues with the bottom four eliminated.

An interesting side note though, the LLS has been won by a different club every year for the last 5 years:
2011 - Warrington
2012 - Wigan
2013 - Huddersfield
2014 - Saints
2015 - Leeds
2016 - Hull/Catalans?...

Maybe the league isn't as predictable as some people think...

Watching Rovers last night it was interesting that Peacock was sat next to Webster and Poaching. Maybe he's decided to get more involved with coaching something he always maintained he had no interest in.

means nothing? finishing top after 23 rounds means you have a far better chance finishing top 4 after 30 rounds than you would finishing 6,7 or 8th

i noticed on cas tigers other forum, some of their fans now want points to be reset to zero after 23 rounds! i bet they weren't thinking that last season!

I heard that a bit last year but if you reset the points after the 23 rounds then teams that were far ahead at the top would ease off and surely games would be more boring, less entertaining. Plus, resetting the points means that teams at the top aren't being rewarded for playing well for most of the season.
