Yeaman at his very best was England's best centre and was one of the few centre's capable of tackling more than a hot dinner when playing the Australian's. However somewhere along the way and probably a combination of multiple factors he lost his way. His work rate dropped off and his reading of the game seemed to lapse and seemingly a few tries went begging because of his inability to pass. Whatever the reasons for his resurgence it's good for us, good for KY but also puts LR/the club in a dilemma regarding centres for next year. Based on how he has performed and barring a serious injury I would agree a one year contract would be acceptable but the risk is does this stunt others coming through, can Yeaman continue in this vein for another season and how does that fit in with CT and where we play him and indeed Logan's development. I honestly could not say that the last two or three seasons Yeaman's performances were deserving of a contract as on the whole he was woefully short and was lucky IMHO to get an extension, maybe he needed a kick up the backside and was told change or you'll be gone?
Deserves a new contract on this years form. His pass to Minichello was superb. I though he was going to give it to Talanoa, but he showed great awareness in finding Mini. He looks a more complete centre than ever this year. Kudos to him.
He's been made to work hard for his place (as have several others) whereas a few years ago he was guaranteed his spot regardless of how he or the team were playing.

Was great tonight and has been a fabulous servant to the club. Has his faults but in recent years IMO one of the major faults as a club was not getting him the ball with any way that he could do anything with it. We were dire. Tonight we were dire mind and he excelled. I would give him another year personally.
His defensive effort last night was unreal. He knows exactly when to shoot the line and 99% of the time he sticks his man. Bridge had absolutely nothing to work with last night.
Great performance from yeaman and a clear MOTM and his try broke the deadlock at a really important time. Definitely worth another year on his current form

I think that those posters who have been criticising Yeaman's efforts over the last couple of years, seem to have forgotten that the whole team was playing badly. He, along with others, appears to have improved because he is playing in a better team, with a better team spirit, and with significantly improved team performance. I agree he is worth another year on current form.
